Though small, the town saw its fair share of struggles from waning oil deposits to severe flooding, but it managed to survive and grow into a thriving community and integral extension of Tulsa.
Jenks Public Schools are rated among the highest in academics and sport for the state of Oklahoma. In fact, the Jenks Public School district is ranked the number 1 school district in the entire state. With highly rated teachers, prep courses, top-notch academics and competitive sports, the school district has been a major pull for homebuyers and families across the state.
Located on the Jenks Riverwalk Crossing, enjoy the Oklahoma Aquarium, the only free standing aquarium in the state. Downtown Jenks is filled with boutique shops and dinners. It has a large antique mall with many surrounding antique shops, making it a place for fun and unique finds. The Riverwalk Crossing, located on the Arkansas River, provides some of the most scenic and elegant dining options in the surrounding Tulsa area. It is a great place for a special night out.
